The Kelley family created Holdfast Assets in June 2012 after the acquisition of a vineyard in McLaren Vale’s Port Willunga area.
Our investment portfolio has grown substantially, with an AUM of $40 million and 50 local staff.
We own and manage several well-known assets across Adelaide and South Australia including Adelaide Basketball, and vineyard in McLaren Vale.

Nic brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and insight to his position as CEO of Adelaide 36ers. With experience in business administration and commercial, in addition to his proficiency across a wide range of sporting codes, Nic is dedicated to seeing basketball in Adelaide grow.

With over 20 years of senior management experience, Asa brings invaluable knowledge to Holdfast Group. In his role as CEO, his diverse skill set allows him to manage the varied divisions with strategic and business development expertise. Having previously owned a financial and strategic solution business that provided assistance to entrepreneurs and commodity trading entities, he is well-versed in ensuring capital growth and business sustainability.
Mark Clisby
Director of Holdfast Assets
As Group Companies Secretary and Director of the Holdfast Group, Mark has spent 30 years practising as a Barrister and Solicitor specialising in the commercial field, bringing experience, insight and corporate understanding to Holdfast Group. He is also a published author, currently working on his second book, and a qualified captain in the Royal Australian Infantry Corps.
