The Perth Wildcats have signed athletic wing Nic Pozoglou as a development player for the 2019/20 season.
The 23-year-old is known for his rebounding ability, transition play and highlight finishes at the rim.
Pozoglou was outstanding in the recent NBL1 season, averaging a double-double 19.2 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game while playing for the Melbourne Tigers.
He’s also shown a consistent shot, making 44 per cent from the field and 34 per cent from down town.
Pozoglou has a strong frame, standing at 196cm and weighing in at 97kg.
He has nine NBL games under his belt after two seasons with the Illawarra Hawks.
The Wildcats flew him to Perth for a trial workout earlier in the off-season.
Nic Pozoglou has begun pre-season training with his new teammates.
