Jason Cadee Joins Boomers World Cup Squad

Brisbane Bullets guard Jason Cadee has joined the Australian Boomers FIBA World Cup squad, ahead of this week’s training camp.

The 28-year-old averaged 8.3 points and 4.0 assists per game for Brisbane last season, playing a key role in the club’s rotation.

Cadee first represented the Boomers in 2012. In the past 18 months he has played in five FIBA World Cup qualifying matches.

He was a member of the gold medal winning teams at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.

The Boomers will converge on Melbourne this week for training camp, which will help determine the 12-man squad that will play at this year’s FIBA World Cup.

Cadee replaces Philadelphia 76ers superstar Ben Simmons.
